Why is it that some people are ridiculing Susan Rice for saying "I leaked nothing to nobody." The same people who overlook numerous utterances by a President that don't follow the traditional norms of spoken English...

When I was a kid in the 50's and 60's, I worked at my father's grocery store in a predominantly black neighborhood. The older men worked mostly as laborers, janitors and porters on the railroad. This was before the CRA passed in the mid-60's, and blacks had to know their place and stay in them when around white folks... that's what many of the elders said...they developed a coping mechanism they termed "shuckin and jivin" to go along and get along with whites who resented and occasionally punished blacks that were uppity...shucks was a term that describes pretending to be dumb...and jive is a term that means to speak nonsense to confuse and cut conversation short.

Do black people still have the instinct to shuck and jive when confronted by hostile white people? Rice kinda reminded me of Clarence Thomas' reaction during his confirmation process: "this is a high tech lynching".

Are people actually ridiculing her? I only know she said it because of the Mike Rowe piece i read... but i think it was just some good natured ribbing... i don't think there was anything hostile behind it...

Her track record of deceit and lies are more impactful than this slight of hand look here story line.

She was the Benghazi was about a video liar on 5 different Sunday morning news shows, and the Bowe Bergdahl is a war hero liar, and several others.........I know, I know.........anecdotes but there ya go 🤥
