What does he mean by internet taxes? And why would the Washington post pay them?

Next thing you know he's going to tweet about getting HepC from people peeing on the street.

Didn't open the article, but it seems obvious to anyone who isn't wholly consumed by media-induced hatred towards everything Trump that "internet taxes" would mean taxes levied on sales of goods or services sold through the internet.

.... Tail. There are no business responsible "internet taxes" on sale of goods through the internet.

Sales taxes are state mandated. Internet crosses state boundaries.

You are responsible for paying your sales taxes on goods you buy outside the state and bring into the state.

So again. WTF sort of moron would tweet that a newspaper isn't paying their internet taxes?

Clarification. If the internet seller has a physical presence in the state it's delivered to, they have a responsibility.

This becomes much less clear when we are talking subscriptions as there is no physical delivery.

Tail. Amazon (the retailer) does charge sales tax. In all states which have them. Go look. Try buying something on Amazon. Go to checkout... there's a tax line. I just tested it.

The tweet by the idiot in chief is directed at the Washington post. The Washington post sells newspaper subscriptions. Not goods and services.

And your excuse that he "is at war with the post"?? That's somehow acceptable? Do I have to remind you that he is the president of the United States and is supposed to act like it? Jesus f $cking christ... if obama had tweeted crap about brietbart and liberals had excused it as "he's at war with breitbart" your head would have f#cking exploded.

Amazon is not "the guardian of amazon". If he wanted to refer to Amazon's taxes he would have f#cking said "Amazon isn't paying taxes" (which they are, so even that would be a f $cking lie).
If he's talking about "the guardian of amazon" he's referring to a different entity than amazon... hey that's the Washington post... also mentioned... and who you even identifies as who he has a feud with....

And they are a newspaper and therefore frequently exempt from sales tax!

Either way he's a moron because he can't write a complete sentence that doesn't require interpretation.
If he's referring to Amazon, the president of the United States is lying about a company because he has a widdle feud with their ownership.
If he's referring to Washington post, the president of the United States is singling out a newspaper and claiming it needs to pay nonexistent taxes... because he has a feud with them.

Either way we have a moron for a president who dangerously overstepping the bounds of our democracy.

But his sentence clearly states "referred to as the guardian of amazon". Sentence structure indicates that the subject of his moronic sentence would not be Amazon itself but the "guardian of amazon".
