And note...

Trump stated today "I feel badly about a lot of it because I think a lot of it is very unfair,........Manafort has nothing to do with our campaign. But, I tell 'ya, I feel a little badly about it."

Trump's campaign manager....

...had nothing to do with the campaign....

WTF does this orange moron expect us to believe his campaign manager was doing?

For 49 days. Thats how long he was campaign manager.

How long ago are these charges from? I don't know if he's guilty or not, but if you think these charges are anything other than leverage to justify this circus you're foolish.

He was part of the campaign from March ... Was promoted to campaign manager in June.

You can pretend this is just a circus. I'm not going to bother trying to convince you otherwise....

He did a lot of his shady deals working for Russian oligarchs in Ukraine before being hired by Trump. He was Trump's campaign manager heading into the RNC, where there was a last minute adjustment in the party platform regarding reducing the type of aid the US would provide to the Ukrainians against the Russian invaders. Might've been the first public instance of connections between Trump's campaign and Russia.

Could be Trump was unaware of Manafort's relations to Russia. Trump seems to insist, and to show, his lack of knowledge more and more about more and more...but all these ties to Russia between Trump and his peeps...coincidence?

Manafort will prolly end up serving more than 49 days...until Trump pardons him...

If he broke the laws, shouldn't he be prosecuted regardless of how his crimes came to light or when they occurred? We have statute of limitations on prosecution, and none of Manafort's crime fit into the limits, so...explain why he shouldn't be prosecuted.

Or is there an unwritten law that wealthy people are above the law?

Hillary would be a good example of that... 😟

OIG report just concluded that the decision not to prosecute her was correct...Jeff Sessions is the Attorney General and he's got the horsepower to prosecute her...why doesn't he...

a new record for restraint.

ages ago I said the zillions of dollars that bought influence, not so much votes, would be the story, and pointed right at Manafort. It was exactly his political/financial position that made him attractive to someone wanting to cut the Red tape (see what I did there?) who wanted to build a Trump Moscow Tower.

Only later did a run for president occur, and his profile was even more valuable. And an unmistakable positive public relations spin began about Putin.

Z, I think you are wrong, I do not see the conspiracy you do. I also do not see, look Manifort may have done this so Trump must be guilty of something. The charges are serious ones. If true he should be in jail. Sometimes when it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a duck.
