^I have a Marlin 1894 lever action in .44 mag. Fun to plink with, but I have no idea what else it's good for. The most useless rifle I've ever bought was a Marlin Camp Carbine in 9mm. That thing is a joke. I have no idea what I was thinking.

Some people complain about the tubular magazine loading that Henry uses. I actually prefer that system. I have an 1873 Winchester lever gun and a Colt Lightening in .45, both modern copies that use a receiver loading gate that is frankly a PITA. There is one downside to the tubular magazine. After fully loading the magazine tube if you lose your grip on the magazine plunger before you get it latched, the spring will launch it right out of the rifle. 🤦
