I mean... I can wish twitter was a nice place. But it isn't going to suddenly become that. Death threats are common. Feminist twitter accounts are always getting death threats and rape threats. It appears that any account by an african american with a political opinion gets death threats and wishes that we could go back to slavery and (if women) rape threats. Journalist's twitter accounts are always getting death threats and (if women) rape threats, these seem to spike after the president speaks.

I didn't have a fit when I heard about those people getting threats, I'm not going to suddenly have a sad because some people using their kid as a political took are getting threats.

Someone should really find it creepy that rape threats are the go-to online threat for women's accounts.
