bought one once at B&M and the guy punched one of the flat sides for me...I prefer the pinch.
Often I'd end up making a cut once well into the chisel if there was a tar build up.

yeah, it worked. the b&m guy was touting it as a way to direct the smoke up to the palate or down toward the tongue.
It just didn't thrill me.

That's an awesome second place prize!

I prefer to chop chisels personally. Tried the punch method, wasn't my thing.
