Now a dead el Salvadoran and his toddler daughter are dead on a riverbank... Now there's a crisis and it's all trumps fault...

Politics aside, is el Salvador that bad or America that good? Dude kills himself and his daughter trying to get here, but passed through the enormous country of Mexico to do so?

Is Mexico also so bad that migrants can't receive any help there? I've been to Mexico... Parts of it are much nicer than where I live...

Here's another one... How did Mexico and central America become such sh*tholes? Africa, I understand... Able bodied men were stolen from the continent for generations and women and children left to fend for themselves... I get why they're developmentally behind...

But Mexico, wtf... How is it that every government North of the Mexican border has their sh*t together but everyone South of it is corrupt, overridden with crime and drugs and gang violence...

This is a horrible situation. I don't like how Trump is handling it. But I don't like how previous presidents handled it either. It needs fixed, bit it is beyond me as to how to fix this. IMHO anyone who is here illegally should be immediately deported with no hearing.

I don't remember ever hearing about several thousand people caravans marching across Mexico and rushing our borders... Maybe it happened and the past administration chose not to enforce the laws... That wouldn't surprise me much... 😟

most of the numbers in the past were Mexicans trying to get in...and those were numbers of people actually stopped...imagine how many got through....are millions of Mexicans better than a few hundred thousand Central Americans?


I don't mean to say that we should not find a solution to our immigration problem, and Trump is trying, but sometimes his solutions make the problem worse...


we solved the Mexican "illegal immigration" problem by economic aid and partnerships with Mexican industries, which improved the Mexican economy so much that there was no longer a primary motive to come to the US...

instead, we have cut off aid to Central America...
