Evacuated a week ago in Northern CA. Power went off and smoke was so thick, I was happy to be on the highway until I stop and sat there for 4.5 hours like every other jackwwaggon. LOL

Everything was toast, but the mail pick up had a five pack of Montecristo Platinum Toro which was very happy to see.
Now, I get to start building a new Humidor.
Lost my collect of home made ones. Really gonna miss those.

This is my first time on the Forum. Just wanted t say hi.
Finding all kinds of other stuff to do since I seem to have more time that chores.

welcome 560...

saw some hellacious videos of folks evacuating on roads surrounded by fire in every direction, including where they were headed...

glad you survived...at times like this, life's simple pleasures, like having a cigar, are magnified...all about perspective...

hope it doesn't take too much time, effort and money to get back to "normal"...

Wow. Sorry to hear about the loss, but as long as no one got hurt, that's a win.

Young man, there's no need to feel down
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground

j/k

My heart goes out you and your family. Our home in south Louisiana flooded in The Great Flood of 2016. We lost pretty much everything except the clothes we were wearing. Furniture and what not can be replaced. Heirlooms not so much.
