A woman, cranky because her husband was late coming home again. She decided to leave a note - "I've had enough and have left you. Don't bother coming after me"

Then she hid under the bed to see his reaction.


After a short while the husband comes home. She could hear him in the kitchen before he comes into the bedroom. He enters, walks towards the dresser, & picks up the note.

After a few minutes he wrote something on it before picking up the phone & calling someone ; - "She's finally gone...yeah I know, about time, I'm coming to see you so put on that sexy french nightie. I love you...can't wait to see you...we'll do all the naughty things you like". He hung up, grabbed his keys, & left.

She heard the car drive off as she came out from under the bed. Seething with rage & with tears in her eyes she grabbed the note.

He'd written "I can see your feet. We're outta bread - back in 15 min."

As much as I despise the democrat party, the republicans did pretty much the same thing to Clinton. To be clear, I despised Clinton too, but the parliament of whores wasted a crap ton of money making noise about Clinton with the help of Ken Star, results? Nothing, just like today. I just hope everyone remembers that in November.

Pelosi was probably the only clear headed one over there...at least until the ganging up got to be unbearable.
She knew this was a bad idea, but didn't see a whole lot of value in just jumping in front of the train.

Senate won't convict. Trump is emboldened and does stuff the dems (and probably most people) find abhorrent and even impeachable -- but now they've already emptied both barrels; the bar for swaying anyone during the next impeachment just got a bunch higher, as their credibility with 'other than partisans' has dropped even farther....their constituents won't let them sit around and eat crow, so now we're in for five years of impeachment talk/hearings/bs

Assuming Trump wins next year, and dems keep the House, I predict no less than two more impeachments, probably three.

The vision of some that two terms of Trump might be extreme enough to swing the pendulum and bring people back together to some semblance of 'normal' is being shot to hell by dems own extremism. Instead of showing people how terrible Trump is for the country, they've managed to alienate even those who aren't thrilled with him. Not to mention solidifying the hold he's got on the 30-40% of true believers.

This is what makes it irrelevant.

The 30-40% true believers (let's call them morons for short) happen to be positioned that they will have the majority for presidential election and senate for a sufficient amount of time.

They will continue to vote for "owning the libs" over having any sort of coherent thought patterns.

Why bother trying to come to consensus with them?
