... I am looking forward to watching the Trial just because it is history in the making.

Over it.

It's a sham perpetuated by a single party (and not the entire party either!) in the House. first it was the "Russia, Russia, Russia" narrative to push us to this point and that imploded. Then it was "Stormy, Stormy. Stormy" pushed by a fraudulent human with a law degree and it imploded then it became "Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine". The constant movement of the goal line tell me that they have nothing. If only the Democrats in the Senate could maintain some sort of regularity and stick to what they bemoaned during the Clinton impeachment where real statues were broken that were listed and not generalities that separate the branches of government. Ill let their own words out of their mouths do the talking though...

At first, I wanted witnesses. I wanted a laundry list and check em off and expose them for what they all are...LIARS. Obama, Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Schiff, the "whistleblower", Hunter and Creepy Quid Pro Joe to march up there and get exposed. Now, I want a lid on it. Store it next to the Ark of the Covenant in the "warehouse". It's not the job of the Senate to make the case for impeachment, that's the House's job. They did such a poor job of it they want "Big Brother" to step in and it doesn't work that way! This entire debacle will only cost the Dems in the upcoming election. In the House, the Senate and the White House.

On the flip side...The NY Times has made up their minds to support a race pandering liar and grumpy what's her face for their endorsement. Whatever that gets anyone...meh. They couldn't even back a single one of the DNC's candidates.

I'll watch parts and certainly follow it. I have no intention on putting my head in the sand and pretending it's not there because it doesn't fit my chosen universe of "facts".

And while I think the current billionaire politician in the white house that was born with a golden spoon in his mouth and is fooling the common folk who he would never actually deal with in real life is laughing all the way to the bank and is the most corrupt person we have had in the office in my lifetime...... I really wish the dems would just concentrate on finding better people and winning the election.

The dude was clearly corrupt before he ever won. If you can't beat that hot mess you deserve him..... then again neither could the record number of R's running against him once again demonstrating there is more similarity between the parties than differences.

It is sort of bad to (illegally) withhold funds until another country announces an investigation in to your political rival however. To let that go would be to make us 3rd world countryish. And if you believe there was really just a heart felt concern to fight corruption (retroactively) in foreign lands you really have drank the orange kool aid and need to reread the previous paragraph. You want to believe that out of convenience but in no way would accept that premise if you removed or switched the R and D.

That said this process is already over and it is a farce by both sides. This admin is straight out of Orwell but it seems as if the other side is too. They are both playing and those lathered up on either side are the puppets.

I really do not understand the cult like devotion some have to either party, to the point they willingly ignore fact and logic (And in the current case the party's core values over the last 50 plus years). And it's definitely not just one team. It's not mutually exclusive at all. The screaming chimps on one side actually believe they look different than the screaming chimps on the other. And to not worship at the cult of their choice completely puts you in the other cult.

Sad. (mirroring a carrots line)

I'll be watching all of it and laughing my butt off when he is acquitted because people like TW can't get over Trump winning. Then I will vote for Trump again, just to piss off everyone who hates Trump. I get accused of party over country yet all these Trump haters seem to ignore how well the country is doing or they would rather the country fail if it means someone other than Trump.

I'm over trump winning. I think we deserve him and if he wins again we deserve him even more. I am saddened he is the leader of my party at the moment but so be it. There will be pieces left to put back together in his wake, and folks in the party that traded away promising futures on him will be ejected. I believe the republican core issues will return at some point if the damage isn't too deep. It could have a long term cleansing effect.

I always want the country to do well and never want it to fail. We are doing well in some areas and we are failing miserably in others. I was no obama fan and didn't vote for him, but I rooted for him to pull us out of the financial crisis. I have no idea what McCain or Romney would or wouldn't have accomplished. That would be pretending fantasy land is fact.

I want the country to exell under trump. To pretend it would have been the opposite under hill dog is pretending fantasy land is fact. You may believe it.... but it's not fact. And had she won (I did not vote for her) I would root for her and call her on the BS.

To suspend fact and reality for either party is something I simply don't understand.

Edit - Its a forgone conclusion he will get acquitted. I don't see me getting too worked up over that. It's a given. If you are happy with the whole process by both parties that's on you.

I am hoping we do not go back to a party full of cowards. I think you and Dershowitz should attempt a third party if you feel this way. He is without a party as well. I imagine there are quite a lot of people out there from both parties that feel their respective party left them. I think they are all insane if they think things have not changed forever.

I am nothing like dershowitz who is a dem. Weird.

Instead of forming a third party I'd just like the rinos like T to do so. The very fact someone calls the party before trump (lifelong democrat) a party full of cowards shows they were never really a Republican but something different. Yet they want to assume the party name and have the true republicans form another party. All while calling long time republicans rinos and non republicans republicans. It's pure orwell and I actually find it tactically beautiful but intellectually dishonest.

but I'd have no problem with that. I'm attached to the values and ideas rather than the name and parties have flipped and changed name before. We will evolve thats for sure. Tomorrow will never be like today.

I do not know what would have happened under hill dog economically. If I had to guess I'd say similar to what is happening now but it is a guess on both of our parts. The only difference is I recognize that.

Republicans weren't cowards before Trump? OK. I am fully aware Trump was a lifelong Democrat. He is also what made current Republican politicians no longer terrified of being called racist sexist homophobes. He rolls into the Republican party like a rock star with all the same brash and attitude of one and both sides sling **** at him that just never stick.

If you want people like Murkowski, Susan Collins, or (the now thankfully dead) John McCain to be the majority of Republicans then I beg you once again to go start a party with Dershowitz and take the surviving of the two with you. They might has well be Democrats anyways.

I'm nothing like dershowitz so don't really get why I would start a party with him unless it's not about values beliefs and goals but about team colors. It seems devoid of any thought and more about something else. That and being thankful for someones death says a lot.

You're right, I am sorry. You are welcome to pretend to feel welcome in the new Republican party all you want. I am sorry I ever said you are a person without a party like Dershowitz. It ain't your daddy's Grand Old Party anymore.

At this point i find politics, politicians, and those who intently follow either to be consistently the most obnoxious and unlovable people in the room...

On one side you have morons saying trump is the best President ever and on the other you've got tardos claiming trump is the most corrupt President ever...

It's a bunch of idiots who have no idea what they're talking about trying desperately to get others to agree with them... **** both teams... **** em right in the ear....
