My life closed twice before its close
It yet remains to see
If Immortality unveil
A third event to me
So huge, so hopeless to conceive
As these that twice befell.
Parting is all we know of heaven,
And all we need of hell.

Appears it could be a hell of a lot worse from where I sit.

The drive is about 120 feet long and drops over 100 feet from the street level. The picture really doesn't show the slope the well. It's difficult to walk up.

We built the house in 2003, since then the driveway was a frozen sheet of ice two times. Stroms that blow green leaves on the driveway are also a big problem. My most used yard tool is a backpack blower to clear the driveway and decks of leaves.

I bet the grandkids love to come over when it snows. With a grade like that riding a homemade cardboard sled is like launching a missile.

Unfortunately there is not much besides trees or the house to slew them down. Most have tried running down when dry, taken the inevitable fall and want nothing to do with the driveway now.
