Stone, 67, was convicted of seven counts of obstructing and lying to Congress and witness tampering over his efforts during the 2016 campaign to get the Trump campaign information about WikiLeaks.

Prosecutors had made the recommendation of 87 to 108 months in prison to D.C. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee, based on federal guidelines.

But da pres’s and his hood says’ “oh no, dis be a travesty o justus”.

And all 4 prosecutors have with drawn.

I'm not upset... if he gets a few years that'll do.

Of course... I've seen travesties of justice here in Commiefornia a lot since I work in the system. This isn't even small potatoes. It's barely a single tater tot.

A jury convicted Stone of lying to Congress, obstruction and witness tampering. Barr should bow-out and leave the sentence alone so Trump can pardon him.

Funny to see folks upset that arrest records are raised against people due to the innocent until proven guilty thing but they will dismiss a conviction and point to allegations or situations where no arrests have even been made. buncha hypocrites we are.

I'm ok with what the judge decides. I'm just not that invested nor do I have all the detail to compare to other cases like the Judge does. Some in here may, or may think they do. Apparently the prosecutors felt strongly though *shrug*

While not surprised, I am impressed with the responses here.

Stone is a POS from the Nixon days, and full on organized crime. Guilty as sin itself.

But he is part of the Trump team - so the only reason he was found guilty is because of Trump haters.

OR best and most common - Look over there! Other were not charged with crimes when Fox and the GOP has full on convicted them.

And lastly, if you read the subtext; the criminal and chief get to keep his homies clean.

We, the forum are a great mirror of America.
