At a point in about 2012 it went from victor808 to victor846 (or something around there) due to weekly banning by the mods.
Then the new forum system was put in place and that rolled all of the usernames under the associated email. Since I had purposely put my real email in each of them, they all got rolled back to victor808 (which can still be searched. And you can find references in the threads where people call victor808 different numbers).... after that I just came back as 809. It has stayed this way since then
