I just watched the George Floyd video. It looks sort of wrong to me. So I decided to come in here to get the reasons why it was not wrong, why the po po should not get fired and why the courts should let it go. I know y'all won't let me down.

From what I saw the guy prolly deserved it and the po po continuing to keep all his weight on the guys neck when he stopped moving and the crowd thought he was dead just makes sense. He did after all remove it when the paramedics took his pulse and determined he was dead. He sure showed all of them who was in control.

The cop looked pretty happy doing it.

I'm generally a wait and see what the other side has to say but not in this case. The video was pretty clear to me. I suspect now we will see a smear of the dead guy to justify killing him.

I'm glad they were summarily fired and hope they go to jail for a long while. Either that or let the community return the favor. Long history of this crap there.

Hey, whoa! Enough of this BS. I happen to use and love the Parker Jotter... it's a great pen and does not deserve negative publicity.

Serious note: If the guy was resisting arrest, that's not an unusual tactic. Once he was handcuffed it was totally unnecessary to stay on him like that.

Watch the whole thing. I think the cop was touching himself while doing it. They were just trying to teach everyone a lesson. They the man.

Ive long been a proponent of reforming escalation of force with the police. I support the police as a rule but don’t condone either oath breakers or unnecessary violence. Unions don’t do themselves any favors with public opinion on the lengths they go at times. Much like a lawyer they bear responsibility to defend though theirs is more for image and pay.

It's well known that the Parker Jotter can be used as a tactical weapon (in case you don't believe me, I Googled it for you - see link below). It's in all their training manuals. The police are well within their right to use equal force in order to were to protect themselves.

They got fired pretty quickly. Will be interesting to see the body camera footage which is what the po po watched before firing. Don't watch the shorter media version. Watch the whole thing. Folks were literally telling the cops they were killing him and he might be dead but they just kept goin..... then watch the paramedics. Crazy. And accepted in some police cultures. Not all. There is a cultural problem in Minneapolis po po land that needs some cleaning up.

I vaguely remember that but there have been a bunch of these types of cases between Minneapolis and St. Paul. It's always been an issue. It's not really hidden. We have the same issue in KCMO and St. Louis.

Well I’m at my moms visiting and CBS ran the story (with video) it looks bad but it’s not continuous video so I reserve “judgement” on the cop. Didn’t see him resisting prone and cuffed though.

Was surprised that CBS didn’t label the “Can’t breathe” protestors as extremist terrorists as the were not social distancing....guess its like being racist you can’t be racist if your black by their score.
