Needed more room for all the cigars I bought here so I made this simple box, and lined it with Spanish Cedar. Dimension are 20x14x36 with 6 side out shelfs.

I'd say that was a damn nice job !!! What are you using as a humidifier ??

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

For now I'm using 4 home made humidifiers out of plastic bar soap holders, 2 on top shelf and 2 on bottom. Drilled many holes in top and sides, fit florist foam inside, and charge them with 50/50 solutions of Polyglycol and Distilled water. Humidity is holding great right around 70% measured with a Wal-Mart digital meter. This is a temporary location in the spare bedroom that is kept cool so the heater does not run much.

I think that is pretty cool! What kind of wood is the case made of? Looks like a patchwork or a really interesting finish.

i don't think "simple box" really covers it. it is beautiful.

The outside case is made of 1" thick Western Cedar boards glued up with Polyurethane Glue and Biscuits, and the inside is lined with 1/4" Spanish cedar.
