Forgive my ignorance (I don't have one) but isn't it a beverage refrigerator? What is it supposed to do other than blow cold air?

I’m pretty sure it is supposed to blow warm air as well. It has up and down arrows so if I turn it up to let’s say 70 and the actual temp is 62 the fan kicks on but only blows cold air then never shuts off because it’s trying to increase temp

No experience either, but I'd try to see if the company has an answer, or just skip the temp control if that's an option

I was thinking that too just leave it unplugged and use it that way.

I have an audew. I keep mine unplugged. When it warms up I’ll plug it back in. I’m not sure what model you have but that may help

It seems to me any unit with a cooler will operate either as "cooling on" or "Cooling not on", but unless it's a really sophisticated unit, I doubt it heats the air to get the temp up.

I mean, if you suddenly jacked up the temp on your fridge, it's not like a heater will kick on to get the temp up, it just won't start cooling until the higher temp is reached.

Now, if that higher temp IS reached but the unit disregards the reading and fails to cool, or it cools down to the temp you set and then continues to cool, there is probably something wrong with the thermostatic switch. I have a portable AC unit that does this. It's either on or off, no actual temp control regardless of what temp I dial in on the control panel...

But the issue is if I have it set at let’s say 70 and it fluctuates in one degree of temperature to 69 the fans kick on and start pushing cold air into the unit almost as if it’s meant to be warm air but something isn’t heating the air flow i emailed newair for troubleshooting help so I’ll find out soon hopefully

So there are different models. Only one of the models has the letter H in the model heats. All the others only cool. So if it's colder in your house the temp will read lower then what you set it at. I have a different brand that doesn't heat. I set it at 67 and starts around 65ish which I'm ok with. If you can get a temp gun and read the inside all over. Mine is always 1-2 degrees different in different areas of the cooler.

^ that’s how mine works. I saw no real need to run mine in the winter months. It gets cold round here.
