F%@k China. They been racking us over the coals for years. You ever hear the saying, “you get what you pay for” If everyone would read the labels and see where the stuff is coming from you wouldn’t believe it. 70-80% of goods come from overseas. If our Guberment can’t do anything ,well if each person would just spend $20 more a month on America made or grown. We could increase our jobs and cut our trade deficit quickly. Every little bit adds up so let’s do our part.

I always try to do what you are promoting but we both need to be aware that there are more jobs to lose importing than exporting.
and the big tax cuts a couple years ago did not end up resulting in big investment in American manufacturing and jobs.

For good reason... honest manufacturing in America cannot compete with goods manufactured in China under zero environmental regulations and an enslaved working class...

The real crime is that we as Americans ever allowed the importation of Goods produced with slave labor...

heh...it is truly a global economy...and it is impossible for the world's two biggest economic powers to retreat into isolationism...

buying only American would mean we'll all have to do without a lot of daily "essentials"

Speaking of which, I’m in the market for a cordless ratchet. Seems all but, Snapon are Chinese. That really sucks.

No, we could buy all American. The best solution I see is ban imports from unsafe slave like labor counties, and high pollution countries. Use as much American raw material as possible, and produce everything in America. Automation is key. This means there will be less human labor to produce the product. 100% of something is far better than 0% of everything. Plus we can produce all of that automation at home. Win win.
