I predict he will get 18 years, unless he doesn't elocute, show remorse and apologize, in which case 20 years or so.

I’m amazed how comfortable some people are getting with saying the things out loud they’ve thought all along but tapped down a bit to not be accused of being racist. It must be liberating for them. To quote Denny Green loosely they were who we thought the were.

This is total bullschit............If you followed the evidence its much more likely Floyd died from overdose,he did ingest drugs prior to being hooked up.Chauvin should have been fired and lost his LEO license but murder,give me a **** ing break.

Police and Sheriff's departments around the country are having trouble finding enough recruits to fill open positions.Personally I don't blame guys for looking elsewhere for work..........LEO's can't even do their job without concern of being lynched nowadays.

If you haven't worn the badge you will never understand the split second decisions that have to be made...........by a mere human.

This was not a split second decision and a badge isn’t a license to kill. This was decided in court with a fair trial and according to Minnesota law. He still has appeals but I’ll place a friendly wager on his fate ultimately.

Not liking the outcome of an election or court case does not dilute its legitimacy. The dude is guilty and going away. Rightfully so.

We need to weed out crap like him so the good cops like you were are not labeled and smeared as similar.

I have no.problem weeding out bad LEO's but I don't recall evidence ever produced stating that Chauvin had a record of excessive force.

The default position for an unbiased observer is it's murder.

Maybe you're only saying it's not murder because he was on drugs?... or maybe because he was an M.C. maybe? (Rapper... and from what I hear, he was actually pretty good)... maybe because those like minded individuals who you identify with say so? maybe because of something else?

I don't know... from where I come from, if you grind your knee into someone's neck for 10 minutes and they die... it's murder...

I agree with you whistle if talking about other situations. There are definitely legit shoots and LEO deserve benefit of doubt initially. We agree there.

I think the MN use and definition of “murder” is wonkey and that’s reflected in what looks like stacking.

This guy was a bad Apple but his actions in this case got just rewards if you ask me. His background can and was used in sentencing. Using words like lunching (not you whistle) in this case is very telling.

But you are right. You and I can disagree respectfully. Some need to learn how to do that.
