Yup. They cannot fight nature, no matter how woke they think they are.

I had a grey cat once (can't remember the breed) that loved vegetables and tomatoes. He would come running when the automatic can opener was used. His favorite was canned carrots and tomatoes. His parents loved hot taco sauce. Strange cats !

Our dog Buffalo, RIP, loved cherry tomatoes. From the way he enjoyed them, I think he liked the way they burst when he bit down on them. That said, he hated peas, even mixed in with his food, they would be left in the bottom of his dish when he was done.

LOL... A friend of mine had a dog that would pick out the peas and "nose" them up onto the rim of the bowl as he ate the rest of the food (mix of dry kibble and canned wet food). Was kind of masterful to watch... bowl licked clean but any peas in the wet food were lined up on the rim of the bowl.

Sniff, sniff... (there's peas in here).... Chomp, chomp, chomp... Pea!... up you go and I'll nose you there on the rim. Chomp, chomp,chop.. Pea!... up you go next to the last one. Repeat the cycle until all food is consumed minus any peas. Was funny watching it. It was college years so pot might have influenced the entertainment value.
