Looking for a good smoke eating candle.

Wife complained about the stinky cigar smell so thought I’d look into burning one while I’m at in the garage. Did a Google search and there are a bunch of them so figured I’d ask the experts on the board for recommendations.

I don't think any of them work that well, really. I did have one of those ozone odor eliminators that they used to sell here.

It worked pretty well, actually.

Have one that works reasonably well from a company called Velvetwhiskeycandle.com

After I have a cigar, I open the two windows in the 100 sq ft room and light the candle, letting burn for a an hour or two and it removes probably 75% of the smell.

Agree the ozone things work. The downside for me with them is I'd get headaches about 20 minutes into their use. Can't explain it, however, I did hear from other people saying it was their experience as well.

Although I have a fan blowing, obviously over the years the oils in the smoke have attached themselves to the ceiling, walls and objects in the garage.

To be clear, she’s not overtly complaining but will on occasion say something. I’mma thinking it’s because I’mma walking around doing something with the ‘gar in my mouth so the smoke lingers in that area.

Nonetheless, I’ll look into 8’s recommendation and iffin’ that doesn’t work, try one of them ozone sprays.

Thanks!

Why are you smoking in da garage, if da smell is becoming an issue?
No other covered outside spot?
I mean, it’s not like it’s cold there…………………………EVER!

Palama as a man with more divorces than you I feel qualified as more expert than you in this situation. The logical next step isn’t a candle, unless you buy her an obnoxious one with 3 or 4 freaking wicks.

No no no good sir, next time she complains you need to immediately drop trough, and piss on the parameter to both mark your territory and assert your dominance. If this occurs a second time she is obviously challenging your status and you will have to pee on one of her favorite personal items so that she understands that is now yours. And you will shape her behavior through negative reinforcement. And the carrot is the stick.

Two words will eliminate the odor: Ozone Generator.
Don't know if they still make Czonka (sp?)any more, but well worth the money. If you smoke in your car, make sure to buy a plug in adapter. Worth every penny.

Anyways, I think this is a fair trade for our troubled Hawaiian botl.
Buy the above for your wife.
And a nice box of PAMS for yourself………….to test the unit properly.

It’s not really an issue but I wanted to head it off at the pass before it became one.

When I started smoking, I used to sit on a wall in the backyard but onset of the windy and rainy season (…akin to your winter…) forced me to seek covered shelter…which, conveniently, was our garage. If it had a bathroom with a shower it would be perfect.

The CI candles they sell here are good. Nikki doesn't notice really. I usually light the smoker eater close to me, a scented candle the next room over, I spray after smoking ozium spray to neutralize the smell. Usually leave the candle going for 30-60 minutes after finishing cigar. I tested it when she was out for a while and when she got home she didn't even notice.

I remember you mentioning that on one of the VHerfs. Unfortunately CBid no longer ships to Hawaii so that option is out. 🤦

Had 2. Wash and wax is the least of your worries. Maintenance and insurance would be much higher. Washing/waxing prices don't change much no matter the make/model.
