Metal wooden handle. My best flipper doesn’t have slots.

It's hilarious that we've come to this... when I posted that list the fkn spatula was the thing that made me think... "So it ain't just me".

I'm glad you guys are weirdo's too!!

My wife has a "utensil" jar on the kitchen counter and she has her various wooden spoons/spatulas in there. We also have some black silicone/plastic spatulas/spoons and the flat, non-vented one is the one I always use... unless grilling. Then I use the larger metal one that I have for the grill.

as for spatulas...they're for stirring and mixing and scraping and pulling stuff out of cans...

I have a heart shaped one my daughter got me for Christmas years ago to make her pancakes with (because she’s not a waffle eating Commie turd). That’s novelty shaped IMO

Makes sense, I just used the category because there was no metal and wood selection. FWIW, I like both pancakes and waffles.

Yea when the Mrs. and I got together, she has her utensil Jug on the counter as well.. and I have mine, I use all Stainless Steel Utensils accept for the rubber scrappers for mixing and cleaning out the last in the peanut butter jar... I've noticed she had gravitated to using these SS utensils as well... 🇨🇮 But I also indulge in using her wooden spoons and such when using Teflon pans for stirring while cooking with them... :-"
