Looking at a Kinetic Research Group Bravo Chassis….

I do like chassis over a conventional stock.

My John Hancock Rifle from Patriot Valley Arms came with a Bravo stock, I say stock because it feels more like a stock than a chassis with a separate handgrip like the MDT chassis which I prefer for ergos. but they all shoot well.

I have an MDT 700 Rem LSS-XL Gen2 Chassis System with a Falkor action and their LSS Gen1 Chassis System with a Howa action, both are good. I've also installed vertices hand grips that I prefer.

The best chassis for me is one made by Aero. They are heavy into CARs, but came out with a bolt action and chassis that is remington 700 computable. I bought the chassis to install an American Rifle Company Coup De Grâce action. I believe the Aero is going to be my favorite.

I also have an Outlier chassis, pretty light weight and comparable with AR grips and but stocks.

Yeah but with MDT it’s great price but you have to buy stuff to complete it so it’s not the best value. Was looking at the Bravo because it’s a bit of a hybrid and I could free goat my barrel.

I have a Tilkka T3 in .243 that I’m looking at using with this.

Probably gonna toss the old scope and throw a Vortex Tactical 4-16x44 on it then think some more on this part of it.

True about MDT, but they do have their Oryx chassis that comes complete. My older son has one under a savage .308 action and is quite happy with it.

Midway has a sale on the Bravo for $399.99, about $30 less than the Oryx

The Aero is not an option for anything but a 700 Rem footprint.

I like Vortex scope, but I think Arken is a better buy, I have two of their scopes, on my wife uses to beat everyone in our local ARA benchers matches.

Yeah the Arken is great it is more of a range/comp scope, was looking at more of tactical/range not too much to hunt with rifle.

Damn didn’t realize it was so old, it’s not a T3…..

It’s a Tikka 595. Gonna have to see if that’s even gonna work. Also forgot how damn heavy it is.

Now I gotta find a GRS Sporter in stock…somewhere.

They look pretty nice, but $$$ Boyd make an A1 stock for your rifle.

I've been happy with their stocks and the A1 is pretty adjustable. For my Howa 1500 mini I did glass bed the action using JB weld, but it was not necessary for two other Howa barreled actions, one in an A1, the other in their thumbhole varmint stock. Boyd stocks are laminated wood.
