110,000 Iowans chime in. Followed by NH which is 42nd in population.

Most are suggesting it is over after those thwo states.

Well, I guess the other 48 states are a waste of time.

Tell me how this makes sense.

Yeah, I hear you. North Carolina, New York, and Florida have all kept Dean Phillips off of their ballots. North Carolina, they did it against their own election laws.

Word is Phillips will get onto ballots in 40 states. He could bloody Biden’s nose.

Don’t know where RFK Jr fits in.

The quick answer is dumber than a pre-schooler. Though I should probably say less educated than….

On a national front lately the DNC has used it as a way to shoe horn in their preferred candidates by limiting access. As far as the Republicans I don’t think they have a clue why the use it or to what end.

But what truly flares the hemorrhoids is that it limits choices on Election Day. Down here the legislature just held a special session. The first bill passed was one to go from an open to a closed primary. The newly elected governor is a proponent of such a system. So if it hasn’t all already he’s sure to sign it shortly.

Going forward we will only have two choices for each position on the ballot. Chit and chittier. Since the trend is a mostly Republican representation in statewide offices they did this because they were concerned DEMS would cast ballots for a non-establishment Republican candidate in an important race during the primaries. The fear was by them doing so it would prevent their hand picked candidates from reaching runoff spots during the general elections.

Why shouldn't people be able to vote in the primaries for the person they intend to vote for in the general election?

Agreed. Is it bad that all those Democrats in Iowa voted for Trump because they know once he's a felon (once or twice over) he'll lose a quarter of his support and Biden wins?

Dems are outplaying the Republicans.

I don’t think it’s necessarily a problem but pretending it’s natural growth of support for Nikki is a lie….acknowledge that and then a convo can start in earnest.

Don’t think the Austrian was a Christian. Think he exceeded the semi part.

At least there haven’t been any candle lit marches chanting anti-Jewish rhetoric.
