Those are bossy little cigars. I've only had a couple, but I like them.

I find cigars like that to be especially suitable for a second short cigar. The strength cuts through any lingering palate-fatigue from the earlier smoke.

Man I had yo go to bed right after that one.

I always kept Cain F lancero around for when I felt like getting kicked in the teeth. This one did that while being tastier. The box was on sale but I grabbed a fiver to try. If I'd bought a box it would take me ages to go through it. Took 10 years to get through the Cain F lancero tubo box.

81579 Tatuaje Havana VI Nobles (red band) with thanks to jakethesnake.

Been kinda avoiding Tat/MF in this hoarding run, so I'm thankful when I get one. My last hoarding run was almost exclusively from MF factory. That's all I smoked for a while. This is a nice familiar face and place after so many new to me cigars. Like coming home after a week long work trip. Had fun, lots of new interesting things, but sometimes you want familiarity.

Big pepper to start, peppers n cream come in with a caramel finish, a nice earthiness and black cherry which may be coming from or accentuated by my Dr Pepper but it's a great cigar, one I've enjoyed many times and continue to love.

Thank you JTS.

Imma little out of practice, but went back a few pages, and though a little wobbly, course appears to have been corrected.

Yes, I've smoked the core maduro, and it's good. I like other things by AR better. I don't think I've had the core natural, or if I have I can't remember it. Seems like someone recently gave me one, so I'll get to try it soon.

And counting from my last post, I think we skipped a number. Tele's correction seems to me to have added one to the count. Someone else should verify.

81580: La Gloria Cubana Serie R No 5 (Robusto)
This continues to be in my top of the list smokes. I’ve tried one heck of a lot of different brands and blends lately and the LGC Serie R is hanging tough. No, it’s not expensive and no, it’s not boutique. And yes, I’m open minded with cigars I’ve yet to try. It has an excellent construction and burn and it smokes cool. The consistency is remarkable and they punch above their weight in price. Like Danm says, like smoking a $5 stick but only paying $3 (and change).

By my count, we were OK at the start of this page. Adding one put us +1 though. If u look on the previous page a certain post was posted 3 times with wrong counts. I counted that as just one.

A number was doubled twice at the end of the page but the corrector for the 1st one overcorrected and added 2 which ended up proactively correcting the 2nd duplicate.

81584 Warped Cloud Hopper with thanks to jakethesnake

First light a bit dry, nutty/woody. Started off with an uneven burn but there's a small crack in the wrapper I thunk once that's cleared and touched up well be fine. Draw is perfect smoke production perfect I don't think it's a construction issue. The dryness subsides an inch in, lots of aromatic spice and a nice rich texture in my mouth. Burn did correct once past the crack and touched up.

I didn't care for warped 5-6 years ago and never revisited. But this go round they've really been doing it for me. This one's excellent, I think I may mark it as box worthy. That's 2 of the last 3 warped I've tried that are box worthy. I think my preferences have been leaning more towards old style cigars where last time I was all about the more big pepper bombs. And the warped Chinchalle that I felt was too harsh and astringent I think was a victim of my overhumidified bulk singles storage and I'm going to give it another shot next time I get a fiver on sale.

Thank you JTS for another box worthy cigar.

81585: La Perla Habana Classic Robusto
Another “cheap” cigar that is tasty and reliable. I love the Indonesian wrapper and the Sumatra blend is different but equally cheap and satisfying. You can get the easily @ $2.5 per, right here on CB.

I agree e Toker. I counted those three from mraia as one post and had us on track for the start of this page, are now +1.

That's what I know. However,

Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don't know we don't know.
