It's official. Picked 'em up a few minutes ago.

Reminds me how I used to feel when I had three or four drinks.

Unless the parking lot was okay on my way in, and it became slanted before I got to my car.

Three days to get my eyes and brain to synch up is what I've been told.

That'd be a first.👍

I have progressive trifocals. Works for me. 🇨🇮
.
I used to wear extended wear contacts. I could leave 'em in for a month!
Then one day, things looked a little fuzzy. Went to the eye doc. He took a look, stepped back and left the room! 😰
He showed back up with 3 of his colleagues... he said, "Take a look at this!" I was like... uh.... what?
Apparently the last time I took them out I had accidentally 'accordian'ed' my cornea! I had to put drops in my eyes several times a day for about a week! 🤦
.
Actually have an eye doc here on the island for about 3 weeks. Seeing him tomorrow about the little circles and squiggly lines I see when I look at a white computer screen. Dang, they are 70 years old now....

Gotta echo what others here have said about progressives, scratch resistant with blue light blocking lenses...aim with your nose. Don't ditch your readers. Place them in obvious spots so you don't have to go around the house looking for a pair. Sometimes they work better than your prescription. YMMV...I doubt it.

Get out you google finger regarding blue light blocking. Human eyes aren't mouse eyes being bombarded with 10K x intensity of a narrow spectrum that vaguely exists.

That's more money for smokes....7-15 of them how we all buy

Progressive is the way to go IMHO.

Progressive works for me and I have been wearing them for approximately 20 years.

I wear a digitally progressive trifocal for about 4 months now and it has been hard to get used to. side glancing is a thing of the past as you MUST point with your nose as someone else suggested. and you have to get used to adjusting what part of the lense you look through based on proximity to the target.

I work on a computer 10 hours a day so in addition to the progressive i have a second set of "office" glasses specifically dialed in for the average distance when working at a desk. i also use these when reading. it has been a game changer for me...

also, on the blue light blocking... contrary to the above i will never NOT get it... being on a computer for so long it is important to protect your eyes and i can tell you from first hand experience that prior to the BLB my eyes would be dry, painful and extremely tired by lunch time... since getting BLB i can work all day with zero issue.

Edit, i also went with an extremely light pair of titanium frames... pricey (about 1k before insurance and still 700 after) the brand is called blackfin and while the weight difference may not seem lot when you wear then all the time like i do it is a noticeable difference. they are also extremely durable and flexable so i am on my second set of lenses in the same frame and have confidence they will easily last through the next set. almost 4 years on these frames so far with zero issue.

I just hope the brain synch's with the eyes and not the other way around. [jester]
