Never seen muddier water than this trial. Trump’s lawyer seem to have been pretty effective at poking holes in the case. The one glaring problem I see is how to explain the fact that Cohen was paid double what he billed to cover the taxes. If it were legitimate legal fees then why pay your lawyer’s taxes?

That is a good one. I think Maher is trying to imperceptibly slither out from the steaming pile of swamp mess. I hope it is because he can’t live with his own hypocrisy and going along with the emperor’s new clothes. Maher still suffers from DTS but I think he’s aware that he has lost his moral high ground of stating the truth. He’s said that this year will be his last year doing stand up comedy. He knows he ranks with Jimmy Kimmel and Steven Colbert and it is killing him - in my opinion. I used to enjoy listening to Maher but that ended abruptly when his comedy suddenly departed from the uncomfortable truth and he took his place in line with the rest of the sheep.
