Well... the ONE day we get to keep ONE red snapper has arrived. I'll be fishing from 3-9pm tryna get mine. Hopefully I get a nice one.

Back to work I go! Longest 6 weeks ever. Probably about 80% better, so Dr wants me to try to work if I can. If not back off for a few more weeks.

So.... you're in need of back to work smokes now? 😰

Got some! I was swinging and missing until we hit our last stop. I was able to land a couple nice ones and a vermilion. Only got to keep one, of course, but had a good time.

My silly ass went to the gym yesterday morning and did legs/shoulders before fishing... so I'm a little bit sore today.

Morning dudes. Visited Laramie and Cheyenne, Wyoming yesterday and sampled some local brews and Q. Meeting our niece and husband for lunch in Longmont today after our morning hike in Loveland Co. Been kinda warm like everywhere else but about 15 degrees cooler than home.

Hello Saturday, hello y'all. [ram27bat]

Well chit. Two years in a row I was plagued with a slow cook on my butts. Had to wrap em to make time, had to shred them right after they came off burning our hands with 200 degree meat. Dinners in 10 hours I'm at 195 and some are probe tender.

Think I'm gonna wrap em to try to avoid drying out and shut the inflow vents try to drop temp and do a long hold.

A food truck festival in town today from noon to 8 PM. It's an annual thing. They block off the streets around City Hall and Post Office. I had a package I wanted to send out so I hopped on the bike to hit the Post Office and check things out.

Prolly 20 food trucks and stuff are setting up camp and prolly another 10 to go. A variety of food and deserts of all different flavors. Along with that, they have a little stage on in front of City Hall for some live local music. Some carnival thingys where you throw darts to pop balloons for a prize. Prolly some creepy clown will walk around doing tricks and making balloon animals. Stuff like that.

My Son and I will go check it out and grab some food truck lunch. I'm thinking of I'll hit the BBQ smoker truck and the Polish food truck. My Son is thinking of hitting the Asian food selections. I saw a food truck that says Venezuelan food. I've never had that nor know what it is so I might have to check that one out too.

After that, I predict a nap with a full belly of a variety of food or I might be fighting off a case food poisoning.

It's kinda overcast here so hopefully the rain will wait until the little festival is over.
