A man went to a brothel and asked to see Alice. He was told she charged $1000 per visit. He paid then went up the stairs with her. After an hour he left.

The next night he went back. Again he asked to see Alice. After paying $1000 he went back up the stairs and stayed with her for another hour then left.

The following night he again visited the brothel, paid the $1000 and spent an hour with Alice.

As he was getting dressed Alice asked him where he was from. He told her Houston, TX. She said that she had family in Houston. The man said, “Yes, I know. Your father James died a week ago.”

Alice asked him how he knew that. He said, “I’m your sister Mary’s lawyer and I was hired to give you your $3000 inheritance.”
