Vice President Kamala Harris has been spotted at restaurants in Washington, D.C., and her preferences of ordering ice along with white wine have been noted by servers.

16 of our last 24 years our president has been a teatotaler, including the last 8 years. Just an interesting piece of political trivia.

I’d be very shocked if she’s out dining restaurants in DC frequently. The amount of work to provide for her protection is not worth the effort when she can host them at her place.

Jeebster, Trump and Biden did not drink. This would account for 8 of the 24 years. 24-8=16. W did drink. 16-8=8. By the math Obama did not drink.

Ummm under Soetoro the half White House was brewing their own beer and he invited the cop that he libeled to a beer summit. I don’t think Barry was “dry”

Obama was a beer drinker. just not often per his own comments. As for Ice in Wine... i have done it myself. If it is my drink then i don't care what anyone else things about it. I am a firm believe in Drink what you like, the way you like... If you like Whiskey straight, go for! Drop of water? go for it! Block of Ice? go for it! Bitters, sugar, and and an orange peel? go for it! not my drink, not my concern...

I agree with drgInc. Reminds me of an advertisement though. For George Dickel. It said, “Water is for washing. Dickel is for drinking.” It was kinda funny I thought but I wondered why they would risk alienating customers who drink whiskey coke or some other disgusting combination. Maybe they were trying to promote some type of exclusive product profile. Back then I used to drink whiskey and water, even Dickel lol.
