I was unaware that the president can pardon before charges are even brought. The president can also keep it secret. With this new knowledge I wonder if he has already pardoned himself. I believe he probably did based on other pardons we are aware of.

He should have…..they’ve cheated, lied, used unelected departments as a weapon and let him get shot…..to keep him out.

I think we should elect Cheeto Jesus king forever.

No. You would have to be charged and convicted for that.

There's no "Get Out Of Jail Free" cards at the Executive Branch or DOJ...just Monopoly games.

See the lawfare games for what they are...not what Ratchet Madcow says.

That is not true... a president can pardon someone before they are charged, President Ford pardoned Nixon and Carter pardoned Vietnam draft dodgers all before any charges were brought.

And, i haven't watched or heard a single thing RM has said in almost a decade... wasn't a fan then... have no reason to revisit.

You linked to a request page... so it is worded for post charge/sentencing the same justice.gov link in the FAQ states the below...

https://www.justice.gov/pardon/frequently-asked-questions#:~:text=It%20would%20be%20highly%20unusual,Donald%20Trump%20 (justice.gov)

"It would be highly unusual, but there have been a few cases where people who had not been charged with a crime were pardoned, including President Gerald Ford's pardon of President Richard Nixon after Watergate, President Jimmy Carter's pardon of Vietnam draft dodgers and President George H.W. Bush's pardon of Caspar Weinberger. President Donald J. Trump pardoned Joseph Arpaio and others after they were charged and convicted, but prior to sentencing. See Pardons Granted by President Donald Trump (justice.gov)"
