Around here they took over the TWO FAIR AND GOOD TIRE STORES I USED TO GO TO...

I've been reading all kinds of bad internet reviews on MAVIS DISCOUNT TIRE...MOST SAY TGE SUCK
THEY UPCHARGE EVERY SERVICE
MANY CARS GET ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS THEY NEVER HAD AFTER they get services their for tires, oil change, brakes etc...

They say their TIRE alignments suck, they only do one type?
Your supposed to get three different adjustments during a wheel alignment
And they lie saying the other two were fine without a printout of those readings, say the printer ran out of paper...nightmare reviews about mavis discount tires all over the internet...

I got my tires at jack williams not knowing they were sold in 2022 to MAVIS " THE LYING TIRE COMPANY"

FIRESTONE IS one of the few only not owned by mavis around here
Except PEP BOYS ( THEY SUCK) AND MONROE ( who are downright thieves and they slash hoses, belts, poke holes in exhaust systems with screw drivers ALL THE TIME...I HATE MONROE MUFFLEF...

I bought a couple of tires from them in Great Barrington, Mass. No problems and they seemed to know what they were doing. I think Firestone and Mavis are franchises, so one could be top flight and others unacceptable.

check the code on the side, not just for weather ratings etc. but date made...it's somewhere on there.

Had a young woman working for me a few years back. Bought a couple tires at Town Fair Tire, save a ton of money, she said.

A side blowout shortly thereafter and they said not covered.
We got that straightened out when telling them the tires, though unused/new, were also hanging around somewhere for 7 years.

I've only used them for tires and only tires. Never an issue. I've also purchased and abused their tire warranty without issue.
Ill never use them for a service of any other type. I try and do everything else myself when I'm capable, when I'm not, YouTube gets me capable then I do it myself.

Still have 2 oxygen sensors to buy to pass emissions, a cam shaft sensor to replace and a brake sensor to disengage the shifter when in park...currently using a screw driver to push the tiny console knock out/ button to get out of park..the one tow truck drivers use when no keys available.
It's gonna be well over $1,500 to get this **** car inspected ...Pennsylvania is a racket...inspection and emissions tests EVERY FREAKIN YR !!!
