I have no idea why, wife doesn't either.

But, chit happens. I also had a couple tetra fish, in my aquarium, die this week. They looked healthy--next day, dead.

You just never know...

Buddy from Madison up for an overnight. Had a bourbon last night.
Today was a landscaping day up north.
Used rocks to fill in gaps around a culvert connecting a moat with an overflow point.
Added a 7 ft cedar picnic table to hte riverside campsite.
Redug the firepit and and trying an idea of ventilating it with a two ft stainless steel tube for smoke egress.
We'll see if it works or if the whole thing goes...... up in smoke.

Friday mornin folks. Gonna be 82/109 and sunny.
Today is the summer solstice and will be both the longest day and shortest night of 2025 in the Northern Hemisphere. Each day after today will get slightly less daylight (by a few seconds) and it will soon be winter ............ so I gots that working for me.

Worked back and Biceps Wednesday... helped a friend install a water softener/purifier system in a house on Thursday. He didn't tell me I'd be digging a ditch with a shovel. Got the ditches dug, the lines run, the system installed and earned myself $200 in about 6 hours. Also reconnected with an old shipmate. The homeowner was retired Navy and knew one of my friends from my first ship in the Navy. Small world. The Lord works miracles every day... you just have to have your eyes and ears open.
As if that wasn't enough... did legs and shoulders in the gym today. No rest for the wicked. Chest and triceps Sunday... and fishing on Monday.

A man is only capable of truly loving once in his lifetime. After that, his heart and soul quietly shut down -- and he can never love with the same depth ever again.
I read that online... and it kicked my nuts straight into my throat.

It'll be at least as long, maybe longer, until I post again. This fucking format blows. I just can't deal with it.
