Spent time with the kids. Both are late teens so anytime I can spend quality time with them is a gift. I don't care about physical things. Spend time with them has no price tag.

Went out to one of our favorite subshop/pizza joints in town and they make an awesome steak and cheese sub. I think they are now my favorite sub places in town. Then hung out at home and watched a movie.

I live the high life (sarcasm). A great steak and cheese sub with hots makes my day... maybe I'm getting old. The big thing wasn't the food (which was yummy by the way) it was spending time with my kids. That's the best gift!

I can always buy another steak and cheese with hots and onion rings any day: cost about $15.
Spending time with my kids: cost is priceless.

I also enjoyed Father's Day with my daughter and her family...her Mother-in-law joined us...daughter picked up some delicious food from a barbecue restaurant nearby...
in response to OP: no I did not give any, nor did I get any cigars for Father's Day.

The best thing ever, a note from a Daughter In Law, for being there for her, got me in the feels.
Our DILs are awesome.

I took my stepdad, brother and son (who brought his gf) to a cabin on a lil lake, where my sister and her husband live right nearby, and the family fished and hung out for a few days, including fathers day. During all that, I got to sneak off to Rocky's News and Cigars in Syracuse for a day trip, and grabbed some cool Father's Day presents for myself.
