On certain occasions I take a break from a daily ordinary cigar and light up Montecristo Churchill. Every so often I get one where the band, when removed, takes part of the wrapper with. You would think that a premium cigar could be made with the label glued to the label and NOT to the wrapper.

Note: if the powers that be are reading this could you PLEASE pass this up the line.

If your talking about a Cuban, sure. But a NW Monte is by no means a premium cigar. No offense meant at all. Its not a bad smoke, but the gulf between it and a Padron is a mile wide.

Experienced the same problem many, many times. Pre glued wrappers are the answer. location and quantity of adhesive controlled by label manufacturer should solve the problem.
