Not long ago I received an order of PAM's at a shop I regularly do business with. I received all the PAM's I requested, but in addition I also received one that was an unfamiliar shape (approx. 7 x 54), a little bit longer than the diplimatico and about the same ring as the imperial. And it had the anniv. band and serial number on it. At first I thought it may have been a 1926 No. 1, but it did not match up with my other 1926 No. 1's. Any idea what this might be. Any ideas?

I think you are confusing the Monarca(6.5x46) with the Diplomatico(7x50). X

No, I smoke many monarcas and diplimaticos-this mystery cigar is slightly longer than the diplimatico, and much wider than either the monarca or the diplimatico.

ok. i will finally show my newbieness. what is a PAM? Is it a Padron Ambassador Maduro? A padron ambassador mattress? what? yea, yea, i am letting my ignorance and low brow show ( but i'm ok with that). but really, what is a pam?

PAM=Padron Anniversario Maduro,PAN=Padron Anniversario Natural. X

The Only other one longer than the Diplomatico is the "A" size,it comes only with the Anniversario sampler box. It however is much thinner than the Diplomatico and the Imperial. Pehaps some one has rebanded a Padron Magnum or Padron 4000. X

X: have you tried one of A size PAM's? A local smokeshop had some of them for sale at 20 apiece. I thought about picking one up, but had not heard anything about them. Anyone have any comments?

I have tried them and they are XLNT as well as all PAM's. If ya got $20 to spend,give em a whirl. X
