Habanas, that is. A friend of mine is going to turks/caco(?) wherever that is. Either way, he offered to lug home some ISOM's, and I am looking for suggestions. I don't need any that will make my head spin, although I am not adverse to that either. I'm just looking for that high quality smoke which I may have overlooked in the past. I've had Punch and R&Js, are there other MUST haves?

I'm no expert on Cubans but I did have a Diplomaticos #2 that I thought was superb. Not a strong cigar, just smooth and tasty. I have a Sancho Panza Belicoso waiting for me to find the right occasion -- I hear they're good as well.

if your friend finds any Montecristo #2 consider it a miracle, these are very hard to come by. A more common Cuban are the Romeo's, the corona size in metal tubes or the Cazadores are excellent cigars and not on the expensive side. I don't know the cost where your friend will be, but in the Netherlands a box of the Romeo Coronas is less than $100.

Thanks, all. I've also had the Cohiba Siglio, actually very recently. I think I'll lean towards just about any Monty, but the Cazadore sounds like a possibility as well. The thing is, he is looking to me for guidance, but my pseudo-knowledge of smokes is limited to non-elians. He isn't leaving until the first week in October, so I'll do some more research. Thanks for the helpful input.
