I've been lurking and occationally posting on these boards since June or July I think so I don't know if you'd call me a newbie. But I'm not sure if I understand the etiquette here. For example I started posting without introducing myself like some people do simply because I didn't know that was the custom.

So, belatedly, Hi guys and gals. I'm Ed from Port Orchard, Washington. Some of you may have seen my posts before. I love dry, sarcastic humor but of course I'm carefull to not be insulting or hostile. I think there's a great crowd on this board in spite of the occational flame ups--which I think are entertaining.

I've seen where people talk about newbies sending a cigar to someone but I'm not sure what that's all about.

efm, Ive seen you out there! Welcome aboard, officially from a fairly new guy. Ive been posting for about 3 months myself. I've bid here for over 2 years.
I'm probably one of those guys you mention on the heated threads. NFL only! You will notice I'm a nice guy everywhere else. As a Raider fan I dont get many breaks on my sports posts, but its fun to me! I post with many other interests, and get along with everyone.
