What's the largest ring gauge you've ever seen/smoked?
I have a La Gloria Cubana that is very large (not sure what size), and I'm almost afraid to try it.

I have smoked a Casa Blanca Half Jeroboam (5 x 66). It feels wierd holding and smoking it but it produced a good mouthful of smoke on the draw and smoked pretty cool.

The Immenso at 6X70 is the largest cigar that I've ever had, but I do enjoy a Cuban Parejo at 7X56 it's my golf course favorite.

Difficult to answer this one without smart remark, but I love the LaGloria Serie R and one of those has a 60 ring gage (#6) which is probably what Tarheel has! I also like the Partagas Blacks and all are large ring gage!

Tarheel, if you do not want the LaGloria, I will trade you for it! I know Trade board, but I am smoking a LaGloria #5 5.5 X54 as I am typing!!!

The LaGloria landed in my lap in a bombing exercise. I am curious about trying it. One of these days, I will.

I've got a couple of those big ring gauge LGCs that I'm reluctant to smoke too ... not because they're big, but because they're GOOD ... but, they've been aging quite a while, and if I smoke 'em, they'll be gone ... so what I'm doing is aging them even more which will make me even more reluctant to smoke them .. it's a vicious cycle ....

I know what you mean Steve. I like to hoard my good smokes too in the fear of them being gone and not being able to replace them. When I open my humi, it is a chore to decide what to smoke. I have to think of where it will be smoked, who I will be with, how long I will have to smoke it and how many of each cigar I have(can they easily be replaced). I want to enjoy EACH cigar to the fullest!!

I went to a rolling by the guys from Victor Sinclair and they rolled a foot long cigar that was about 100 ring and we all took turns smoking it...it looked like a headlight flashing when you drew on it. That is the biggest I have seen. Believe it or not it didn't taste to bad either.

Aren't those eggs pretty big gauged? Who was it here that smokes them?

I don't like to go over 55. I look dorky with too big a cigar.

Acid Extraordinary Larry and JdN Antaño Gran Consul are both 60 rings. The JdN has a tapered head so is a little less the jawbreaker. I enjoy both those fireplugs, but IMO 48-50 is big enuff.

Rayder, I'm not sure how big the "bulge"-part of the Egg is, but the part you stick in your mouth probably isn't more than about a 48 ring gauge. The Egg is tapered at both ends, and it's quite a site when it burns to the middle. I smoked one; it got quite a few laughs. The thing's a bit awkward to hold on to as you're smoking it. I sat it down after about two hours, and I was about two-thirds through.
I guess the biggest I've had is a Perdomo Cuban Parejo. I personally don't care for any cigar over 50 ring gauge. I've seen the Immenso and Casa Blanca Jeroboam - I'd suggest getting those dental mouth spreaders before attempting one of these.
