Well I think the Raiders crossed their biggest hurdle on the way to the Superbowl.
Tennessee will be tough, but I think New York was the most difficult challenge.
I feel pretty good about their overall chances to take the Lombardi.

Rayder, you finally back my cause! I've been getting hammered here & there, with little back-up!

You are right! The Jets are the biggest hurdle, in my opinion also! I'm actually relieved a little now.

The Bucs in my opinion, won't be able to stop the Raider Passing attack. Gannon is too smart for any defence. He reads it very quickly & adjusts if necessary. Our defence is finally pretty healthy also!

This game was close the first half, only because the Raiders went out of the usual game plan. Not enough passing. The second half were the "Real" Raiders!!

The media has to Hype every game for ratings! Last weeks talk was this "Is The Game", like who ever wins is probably going to win the Superbowl.

Well, since the Raiders won, now the Bullcrap HYPE is about the Titans!! NO DAMN RESPECT!!

The Raiders WILL rock the Titans world!!

GO RAIDERS!!!

I used to be a Raider fan ... before Al Davis gained total control of the team and went carpetbagging to LA ... I thought what the local politicos did to lure him back was shameful and that the Colliseum has been forever ruined by what was done to it to appease Al's insatiable greed .. but you know what? ... I gotta agree with you guys ... I think the Raiders will whop Tennessee and play in San Diego on the 26th ... I'd normally be completely unbiased in the other game next week, but am now hoping that Tampa will win so I can see the look on ADs face when Gruden's boys take the Raiders to the mat ... oh, the poetry, the justice, the beauty of that thought ...

Sorry, Ray and Mag ... I like you guys, and I'm happy for you today and will be on your side against the Titans but my dislike of AD will cause me to be on the other side come the trip to San Diego ... and my apologies to all you Eagles fans too ... normally I'd be fine with your team headed to the big game, but not this time ... justice can be served ONLY by a pitting of the pirates with Tampa beating Oakland ... I can almost see the look on ADs face now ... he looks exactly like he just took a bite out of a lemon that he mistook for a peach ... oh, how sweet it IS !!!

JonR, I kinda think a bet would be interesting here! what do ya think? I'm game, are you?

If the Eagles make it, lets get it on!

If you noticed, I didnt say, if the Raiders make it! They will be there!

Dont mean to be disrespectful, but the Raiders are going to BURY THE TITANS!!!

Lets see what happens & go from there, if you are game!

Yo Mag : The Eagles will definitely be in and win the Super Bowl . We will have no trouble with Tampa as we beat them 20/10 this year and knocked them out of the playoffs the last two years. I hope the Raiders make it to the Super Bowl so the Eagles can atone for their loss to the Raiders in the 1980 Super Bowl and yes to your suggestion pertaining to a wager . BTW I wouldn't use that expression " I'm game " if there are any hunters where you live , LOL JonR

I want to see the Bucs and Raiders in. There is no team in the NFL that can beat these wiley veterans unless they beat themselves.
That is the case for all teams, but the Raiders have shown their only (and I mean only) weakness is their predisposition to get untimely penalties and play a zone or prevent set when they get backed into the red zone.
When they pull away from stupid penalties and prevent defense sets...there is no one who can touch them.

You can hype Tampa Bay all you want, but they aren't of the quality that the Raiders are. Coaching is their strong suit. I want Gruden to fall to his old team.

I agree, once again with Steve, that it is damn impossible to pull for Raiders due to the old creep Al Davis!!! He would steal from a blind person and has done so I am sure!

Go "Chuckie" and take Tampa Bay to the Super Bowl championship!

All right guys, just because the Bucs whooped the 49ers don't think they'll do the same to the Eagles. Here are my reasons on why I think it will be an Oakland/Philadelphia Super Bowl:
1) The Eagle defense, in particular the D-line, will smother the Tampa offense. You saw Micheal Vick have a difficult time just think Brad Johnson is not as fleet-a foot as Vick but then who is.
2) The Tampa Bay rushing attack or lack there of. This is the biggest factor - Tampa Bay really not establishing any kind of a rushing attack all year is the biggest reason why the Eagles will win the NFC Championship and advance.
3) Keyshawn Johnson is overrated(that's just a personal view)
4) COLD, COLD, COLD. This is not the time of year to be visting the City of Brotherly Love. No swash-buckling for the Buccaneers this Sunday.
5) There will be no brotherly love for the Bucs at the Vet.
There were only 28 arrests at the Vet for last weekend's Playoff game. Not too bad Eagles fans, now let's remember no bus tipping this weekend let's show America that you can behave.

And I'm not Eagle fan, well ok I'm a McNabb fan (because he went to the 'Cuse), I'm a Cowboy fan.

I sure wouldn't want to sound like I was making a personal attack of any kind, but your telling me you're a Cowboy fan causes me to question the validity of your judgement ... how can I put credence into anything you're saying in your analysis of the pending TB/Phi game ???

Honestly, an admission of that sort detracts from the credibility you'd have otherwise had ...

I only mentioned I was a Cowboy fan in case anyone thought my view was coming from a biased Eagles fan.

I think Mag is last year's Tailgater! No one believed Tailgater when he was talking some smack about the New England Patriots and they won the Super Bowl! All of you guys with your successful teams can be thankful for all of the Chicao connections. Bill Callahan is aformer Chicagoan who went to high school here and also coached on the high school level. Donovan McNabb is a product of a high school powerhouse here in Chicago, the same high school(MT. Carmel) that produced Simeon Rice of Tampa Bay. Let's not forget that Jeff Fisher, the Coach of Tennessee, was a member of the Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears of 1985. Now if we could just say something positive about the Chicao Bears....well, let's not go there!

Todog, I hope you are right! Guys, dont take it personally. Its just that I get over excited about The Raiders. I really dont want to rip on any of your teams at all. Just rooting for mine! Your teams just happen to be in the way! Hehe! :>)

Todog, great comparision, as I have been thinking the same thing! As a Chiefs fan I cannot cheer for the Raiders! I do admire the team they have hit the field with this season and think it ranks with their best ever teams! Mag is waving the flag about the same way Tailgater did last season and with the same amount of conviction!

You gotta admire fans with that kind of balls and nerve to back their teams! If it wasn't for Al Davis and the escaped lunatics who inhabit the "Black Hole" I could pull for the Raiders to win this year----but I choose to not pull for the Raiders!
