Slim, judging from the piccie, I knew that I'd seen those bottles somewhere. And guess what, I discovered they're sitting on the shelf at my local favourite watering hole!!!! I was there friday enjoying a smoke (a Cerdan. A Davidoff offspring), and there they were. I guess I'll try them in near future. Any recomendation?

Sorry I didn't get back to you right away Hansen ... I forgot to look back on some of my posts. I also forgot that you are in Denmark. Damn ... you can get just about anything over there, from what I hear! From the outset, if you are thinking about making a daiquiri or any other mixed drink, do not even look at a bottle of Havana Club. This is a sipping drink, to be enjoyed much the same way one would enjoy a brandy or cognac. Havana Club's flavors explode with hints of vanilla and butterscotch while having a rich creamy undertone. It has what I describe as a smokey caramel flavor from being aged. It is best served at room temperature in a snifter (although my first taste was actually in a large shot glass). One of the most amazing things about this world-class rum is its price internationally. While I rate it slightly better than the Barbancourt lines (also one of the best rums in the world), a bottle of 7 year old Havana Club can be found in duty free shops for well under twenty dollars. However, keep in mind, living in the United States makes it all but impossible to ever taste Havana Club. Like Cuban cigars, it is illegal to import Havana Club rum. I would not serve Havana Club with any meal, instead saving it for after dinner. While it would seem natural to sip one while smoking a Cohiba, I wouldn't. The flavors of a Havana Club should not be compromised.
