"Cash, check or charge?" the cashier asked after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As the woman fumbled for her wallet, the cashier noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse.

"Do you always carry your TV remote?" the cashier asked.

"No," she replied. "But my husband refused to come shopping with me, so I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him."

LOL! Rick that was before me!
But I do remember what I can now accurately refer to as my first pee pee dance when we got our first color set!

Man... whoever who husband is really screwed up. Women should never even see the remote, let alone touch it!

Does anyone call the remote a "clicker"? I got into that habit because when growing up, our first TV with a remote made a loud 'click' when button was pushed. I think it was a Quazar. The remote looked like a garage door opener with 2 buttons. One for channel and one for volume. Could only go one way. Would have to go thru all channels to get to lower one.

Wow, I'm gettin' OLD !!!

Is this "thread jacking" ? If so, SORRY, B !!

Too continue with the thread jack, I remember those well. I think they worked with something like tuning forks inside.

By the way - LMAO about the wife with the remote.

You can't be that old... I remember when we got our first rooftop antenna and I was able to watch the Flintstones, Speed Racer and the Brady Bunch all on the local channel.

Two questions:

1. What do we win?
2. How pi$$ed will you get if we over-guess??

I know you have GOOD prizes!!
