Hhhmmm...I think you are right...CI has them for $31/5 pack. But as they say "congratulations C.I. There is one born every minute."...69

I simply cannot believe it...Wow!

Does anyone besides us "perfect people" do research into cigar prices before bidding? 🙂

HOLY CRAP! Gotta love the newbies. That's how Cbid can afford to give me those Opus-X 5-packs for $7.

Our deep and profound thanks to JG of Tell City, IN and BW of Lansdale, PA ... they're true heroes ... jumpin' on a live hand grenade, sacrificing themselves for the good of the rest of us ...

you gotta love guys who'll do that ... $51 + $3.95 s/h = $54.95 for 5 sticks is $10.99 each ...within pennies of being exactly double the per-stick price if one were to buy a 24ct box from CI ...

they're not overbidding ... they're underwriting the low price per stick some of the rest of us pay ...

the way I see it, they're underwriting the stuff I'm buying ...

Steve, thats a good way of looking at it! The overbidders support our bargain bidding ways & CBid still does well!

I did that on a 5 pack of Padron Churchills, Thought it was a box. Luckily I only got it at fair market. It ain't easy being a newb. 🙂

Give us newbs a break.

rwestcot,

I highly recommend reading the descriptions! The picture alone isnt enough, its just a picture sometimes related to the product but not exact. The written description is the accurate offering. Just a little advise. Welcome!

Hey, we should cheer on these guys. They help improve the bottom line, so when we get a great deal, it offsets the loss.

Just keep saying that until someone bids up one of your lots like this. 🙂

I've had that happen, you can't win them all.

The key is to find your lot. Set your auto bid and never look back. Even when they email you that your bid is losing. Let it go. The lot will always come back around....like that damned otterbox and cigars I didn't bid on.

Also...try and figure out how many cigars you want to keep around. I only bid when supplies start to run low

The key to success is to flog only after the horse is dead. Raise you club high over head and bring down swiftly in a follow through stroke.
THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK

That should do it.
