any comments on perdomo fresh rolled wheels

I've actually enjoyed these. They're definitely a bit more young and mild than the other Perdomo progeny, but they do improve with humidor time. I find them a very pleasant diversion from some of the fuller bodied smokes.

If you tried the Perdomo Reserve Rosado line...these will seem very similiar. They use the same wrapper, but a milder and more mellow blend. Pretty good though, and definitely go well with age.

I happen to think the Perdomo Wheel Torpedos are a great everyday smoke and can be bought fairly reasonably! Have not tried the others but do like the Torpedo, and if you can put em in humidor and forget them ( I cannot) they should age quite well and it should help them.

I also got the impression that the ones I got are too young to smoke but show promise. I'm going to try another in 6 months or so.

I Love them,
Got about 45 of the dbl corona size left out of a wheel bought on 04/27/02. They have aged out nicely. Your post reminded me of them so I am in the process of herfing one now. Rich, creamy med. body, whith hints of cocoa and caramel. Let you know the rest as I get near the end.

They fall into the medium catagory for me. It has a Rosado wrapper which adds some strength to the Nicaraguan leaves. But it's smooth and mellow, leading to a medium bodied smoke.

I have tried several sizes; toro, robusto, torpedo, and the d. corona. My experience has been hit and miss. Some were as the other posts described with coco and coffee but I tossed many due to poor burns.

Perdomo is an outstnding line of cigars ... top to bottom, it's one of the very best, IMO ... the fresh rolled wheels are an excellent smoke for the money and I always have some taking on a little age in my humidor ..

La Tradicion are my faves from Perdomo. White or red label.

My experience with Perdomo has also been hit or miss. The wheels have been good, but all the others I have tried have been plugged or at best a very difficult draw.

donutboy2000, I love the perdomos. I have had, at times hard to draw, or uneven burners. I've heard they may be slightly over humidified.
