ric, your reason is exactly why I'm willing to pay more than my fair share. I want to make sure this happens! It's long overdue, and has absolutely NOTHING to do with that country's oil. It's their leader, and the inaction of their people and the inaction of the international community to deal with this problem. You only have to look at Bosnia to see that this is MORE than justified.

That region has known more than it's fair share of war, and every single one of it's neighbors stood idly by and let those massacres happen. It was ok by them because it wasn't in "their" country.

When this "conflict" in Iraq is settled, I would hope that the US reflects long and hard about it's membership in the dysfunctional UN, and whether it should even be in the US!
