Hello all. Let's say for example there are 3 boxes of The cigar for auction. After the auction, are we going to pay the same amount or will someone get theirs at a lower price? A friend of mine's auction just ended, and he got his Sherman's at $76 while the next guy got his for $70. How could this happen?

The bids go in order of when they came in. If there are 3 bids that are equal and a higher bid is placed, the bottom bid gets knocked off. #1,$76, #2, $70, #3, $70...Now if no more bids are placed, the top bid may be higher than ones below. People pay what they bid.

Does that make sense?

Yes so it is not the same as a Dutch auction on that "other" auction site. You pay what you bid

If you bid $76 when everybody else is at $60, you will pay $76. What you do is bid only what you need to win the bid and set the auto-bid to what you are willing to pay. At most, you will be one increment over the lowest bid.
