Does anybody recall Martin Sheen's FIRST movie?

It was "The Execution of Private Slovik"

Martin Sheen played a deserter in WWII.
He was the only US Soldier executed during WWII for desertion. They put him before a firing squad.

Interesting how he has not changed from that old 70's movie. Still anti-war, in roles and in life.

Actually, Private Slovik wasn't Sheen's first movie. He appeared in several movies (and TV shows) in the late '60s and early '70s before Slovik (including Catch-22, The Andersonville Trial, and The Subject Was Roses).

I am talking about him doing War Documentary (sp) Narrations for video's ... he used to make a pretty good living Narrating these types videos and Audobiography's... "Notice the Used Too"
I don't think the War Hero's after seeing where he stands on the Issue want a Pansy narrating True Events in History for them...

Come on, this is just pure nonsense! If I protest the war, does that mean I SUPPORT Husein? Absolutely not! It makes perfect sense to say that Husein is a horrible person, and he must be dealt with, while at the same time standing against war. This is just pure childish logic and I would expect more from any citizen who gives a damn about the situation. Sorry for my first post being of a political nature, but I am getting more and more tired of this blanket support for anything Bush prescribes.

If you're protesting the war, and you're against it then how in the world do you figure you're NOT siding with Saddam?!?

Where was this uproar when Bosnia was being "invaded"? Where was the uproar for the conflict in Rwanda? Does the whole "peace movement" sit out for a couple of military involvments, and decide to check themselves into "the game" when the're all rested up?

I think it's total hypocrisy that they run around microphones and tv cameras when previous administrations did the same thing without the clamour! It doesn't send a very supportive message to our troops(that are defending the Constitution!)about what they have to do. If you don't like the Republican Party then by all means come out and say THAT, but don't carry on like this is about peace or oil! The argument doesn't carry any validity to it! Ask anyone in Europe if they're better off without Hitler. It's the SAME thing. All this administration is doing is making damn sure that Saddam and his weapons of mass destruction won't reach the shores of America via him or some Al Queda terrorist group.

Aren't these the very same morons that held a telethon for the victims relatives of 9-11? Some of the faces seem very familiar! How soon America decides to forget! Who knows, if Saddam gets his wish and a veto in the UN is thrown down, then maybe it'll be Notre Dame or the Eiffel Tower that gets reduced to rubble. This is what the war is about people, stop kidding yourselves!
