... if they are so called 'circus' smokes, Hubcap is one highly refined and sophisticated smoker (and pretty well off financially) ...

Which cigar mfg made "The Penguin" a few years back? They looked very similar but tasted like dirt. And I'm not talking about the fancy-shmancy "Dirt" cigar from LarsAcidTeetenDrewhoever, it really tasted like dirt.

I saw one of them up for auction awile back at the other auction site. Last time I checked it on it,it was over $200 for just the one. X

I only called them circus cigars because the striping reminds me of a circus tent. I'm sure they are excellent smokes. They just look very different is all.

Holy Smokes, Batman! I think I'm seeing double! The Penguin line from Universal Premium Cigars has developed the Gentoo, lending credence to double-wrap phenomenon. The Gentoo, incidentally, is an Antarctic
penguin, and the entire Penguin line take their names from various species of the tuxedoed, flightless waterfowl: Emperor, King, Adelie, and Galapagos. The subtle variance in flavor when smoking the Gentoo may not be as obvious as that found in Cassar's "Mystique," but the overall mildness of this striped beauty makes it a fine alternative.
