i like the maduros, dont care so much for the nats. made by nestor plasencia of mayorga (and many many others!) fame. i think these have more oomph than mayorga.

the price is certainly right on them.

jamieconnors,

i might have given you one of those in your package. They didn't appeal to me because I like fuller bodied smokes. They seemed too mild to me.

I'm with LLT on this one, however give them 6-9 mos nap time and they get a little better. X

I'm probably in the minority here, but I prefer the EMS over maddies. What ever you get, let them sit for awhile and they will get much better. The Magic Mountains are good!!!!

I believe a gave you a Magic Mountain. It's about a 5.5x52 pyramid. It has over 8mos humi-time on it. I think it was the Habana2000 wrapper or whatever wrapper came in the 8 stick sampler. They were OK, just too mild.

Magic Mountain Maduro is a good smoke ... I like them ... as with all other cigars, a few months in the humidor will improve them ...

Magic Mountain maddie is pretty good, but I've had draw problems with almost all I've tried...

I have a great love for them. After my first one, I was hooked. Yes it is a mild Madoro, but that is what I like. The wrapper was smooth and oily. I seek cigars like it, being maduro or nat. Who knows of any?

OFD

It also had a great draw with lots of smoke.

But that is how the one I had was. You can find good and bad in all cigars.

I had a Maria Mancini Torpedo Maduro today. My first thought upon grabbing it was "Looks like an IT Super Fuerte Maduro"! I compared. Identical wrapper! Fired it up and yes, it tasted very similar. A bit sweeter perhaps, less power. Burned the same too. I should have let it be for a couple more months. Now that I know Nestor makes both, I guess similarity should be no surprise. It was okay. I will smoke more.

I just tried my first one yesterday and really liked it. Magic Mtn maduro. Not too strong but nice flavor.

When they draw well then they're quite good. I've had a couple that are memorable. About 15% of the ones I smoked have had tight draw problems. All in all, Mancini's are occassionally excellent, generally good but not consistently good

Ditto on the draw problems. Good flavor but I had to hyperventilate to get any smoke.

Shows you what I know about cigars. Thought this was going to be about a chick from the thread title. Just popped in to see if Slim was gonna pounce on it.
