Have never found a Puros Indios I liked. Go figure. Just don't have it in the taste department. Rather flat and one dimensional. IMHO of course.

Remember that your tastes may differ. Try one, then come to your own conclusion. My taste lean toward very full-bodied sungrown smokes and cammies and the occasional ISOM and Opus among a select few others. As with everything, your mileage may vary.

PI decent smoke in my opinion for the money...

James, I will go the other way on this one. I like the PI toro maduro, but haven't tried the one you are smoking. Sounds like a mouthful. Post your opinion.

I have smoked several P.I. nats. They are okay but do not thrill me. Plus, I was once married to a woman from the P.I.. Maybe it's just a negative association for me.

I had one about a month ago. I thought it was ok for the most part. It could have used a little time in the humi. Set aside a long time fer this on. depending on your UPR it could take ya 2 hrs or better!

Just tried the PI toro last week. Like many other posters, I enjoyed it, though wasn't by any means elated with it. I agree that it may improve with humidor time, although personally, there are many others out there I'd prefer to invest my money and smoking time in. By the way, I recall trying to smoke a couple of these many, many years ago when they were a new phenomenon. Maybe my tastes have simply matured, but I could swear that the blend has changed significantly since that time. I remember them being incredibly bitter at that time--like extremely overroasted coffee. I tried twice to finish one back then, but just couldn't. What I had last week was much better, just lacking in distinction.

Got about 10 robustos in my humi have been there for aobut two years. Pulled one out to see If I could remember the taste. To be honest, I think that it was a good Mild/Med Smoke - like JD said. I think that if you put yours in the humi a while they will be okay as a change of pace. I dont believe that they will ever make it into your rotation.
