Yeah, I've seen them do a special on the development of this weapon on Discovery I think. It is pretty amazing... If someone is hiding for instance inside a window on the floor, they can range find on the window, fire an exploding round which penetrates the window and then blows up like a grenade... same concept for someone hiding around the corner of a building, etc.

The laser is cool too, this was interesting though, "Moving ahead with MTHEL means that Israel's nearly $50 million investment could pay off in a few years in the form of a mobile system capable of picking off the Katyusha rockets that were once the bane of Jewish settlements in the north of the country." Did that take that 50 million out of the billions we "give them" in aid?
